If the phones were deleted and then put in storage you can still go back and I delete them - but that’s still a form of archiving.

In any case why did the republicans wait so long to ask for these? Could it be that they are in on the rigging of the evidence.
It means nothing if Trump expressed privately his fury over losing to Biden and looked for strategies to protest and overturn what he believed was an unjust result. The fact is he publicly exhorted the People to “peacefully and patriotically protest.” Was he weaponizing the IRS or Justice Dept agencies against Biden and his allies like Dems did?
The logical end to Gore’s attempts in 2000, the false flag of “fake but accurate” CBS reporting meant to help John F Kerry, and Hillary’s paid for propaganda being turned into a excuse to investigate the POTUS is Americans mistrustful of election results and demanding investigation of claims of fraud. It wasn’t an effort to overthrow the government (Trump was still POTUS), it was an effort to delay certification and demand evidence be heard.
Trump could’ve let it go and at this point, if he wants to win in 2024, needs to move on from 2020 but what would it matter if Trump was angry that day and didn’t want Biden chosen to be POTUS? He wasn’t leading an armed rebellion. Even if he wanted to, fantasized about it, spoke privately about it, he wasn’t calling for it from the podium, he wasn’t at the Capitol.
