Turki bin Faisal Al Saud(born 15 February 1945), known also as Turki Al Faisal, is a Saudi prince and former government official who served as the head of Saudi Arabia’s General Intelligence Presidency from 1979 to 2001. He was the CIA’s man in Saudi Arabia until it was found that he was a determined Islamist and had no interest in helping the CIA destroy Al Qaeda. Since 2001 he has existed at the periphery of the Saudi Royal Family.
