The last President before JFK to get assassinated was McKinley. So I can see how the Secret Service Agents were feeling overconfident at the time.

It is agency culture thing when on a mission the Secret Service and WHCA will often hit the local clubs/bars when not on duty. What goes TDY stays TDY.
Hopefully, today’s management will still correct issues like this. People selected to fill those jobs are normally top notch and go through a selection process. A screw up like this can end your career.

The SS is mostly worried about PR, not whether one of their thugs assaulted a plebe. This might land the agent up in North Dakota, though. Or maybe there is a liaison office in the Yukon or Diego Garcia.

If a western leader is killed the perp is in a world of hurt. If a commie is killed the perp and his extended family and neighbors and coworkers are in a world of hurt. Thats a much larger deterrant.

Didn’t they send two SS agents home from Seoul Korea last month? Jo Jo needs to get his people in line. They aren’t acting the way Secret Service agents are supposed to act. I know working for Jo Jo the Pedo clown can drive you to drinking but this is getting ridiculous.
