To: Night Hides Not

That’s the first thing you notice when you go to away from the coast in the south during the summer. No wind. Just water vapor hanging in the air. Blistering hot, even at midnight.

However building windmills makes people feel good about themselves, so the government must spend money.

Before moving to North Texas 25+ years ago, I lived in El Paso. Weather was awesome, it would start cooling down when the sun went down.

When we had a training exercise in the desert, we always brought our field jackets, as the temps often dipped into the 60s at night.

Up here in North Texas, the temps will stay above 90 until 1-2 AM.
