The Biden administration exported more than 5 million barrels of oil from its emergency reserves that were released in order to combat sky-high gas prices here at home, according to a report.
The US sent the oil, which was taken from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) that the Biden administration tapped into in hopes of getting mounting energy prices under control, to Asia and Europe, Reuters is reporting.
The release of around 1 million barrels a day from the SPR through October has had a minimal effect in decreasing the price of oil. At the same time, it has depleted the reserves to their lowest level since 1986.

It used to be illegal to export American oil until Obama repealed it.
Now any extra we produce or that is released by a president, simply gets shipped overseas and has no impact on lowering our costs.
And it’s out today the oil going to China went to a company in which Hunter (and 10% for the Big Guy) had a financial interest.

Actually, the amount of oil sold to China from our reserves, reserves stored to help protect the United States om am emergency, is not of sufficient quantities to make a difference. I think it is just that the Chinese sidled up to Biden and ordered him to make the token act just to show the world that Biden is Xi’s bitch.

It was high sulphur crude that was released. There is no refinery capacity in the US to refine it. Oil is a global market and releasing barrels on the market reduces the price of what we CAN refine and consume.
