I think his in-laws moved from Kentfield, CA to Montana some years ago, so he’s probably visiting family. But it’s still hypocritical to travel there when he’s placed a travel ban on it.
It's not just hypocritical, it's illegal. Newsom's state police bodyguards are paid in state funds which are explicitly banned from being used to travel to Montana.
The police bodyguards need to be charged and then Newsom as well.
