Is ‘the draft’ making a comeback or perhaps a crime crackdown in the big cities with ‘military service’ sentences for the offenders?

The Fakeservative Republicans and Fakegressive Democrats who support the Uniparty policy of policing the world in places like Ukraine right now have to be considering options to find new cannon fodder.

There are only bad leaders, and we have the worst military leadership in American history, starting right at the top with a commander-in-chief who is less like Ike than Beavis.

That's your money quote. Referencing the great novel Once an Eagle, the Courtney Massengales have run off the Sam Damons. I aspired to be Sam, but didn't come close. I served with quite a few excellent staff officers, but never should have been allowed near soldiers.

Was I a great leader? Hardly, I thought of myself glowingly as an average officer. I knew how to "play the game" during evaluations.

The only battery-level ARTEP (tac eval) I participated in was close to an unmitigated disaster. From missed mission times to incorrectly encoded coordinates for another mission, a defeatist attitude permeated the leadership of my battery.

I just got angry, and loudly delivered a counter to that defeatist attitude. My message was: it's not over, not if you do what I tell you to do tomorrow morning. If you don't I will tell each one of our soldiers that we failed as leaders, it wasn't on them.

Little did I know that the Chief Evaluator was standing outside our CP, and heard everything...lol. When he saw me, he simply said, "that was beautiful, LT". We passed, barely. It earned me the worst efficiency report of my career, though the Group Commander repudiated the rating from my Battery and Battalion.

What they didn't know was a military career was never expected, nor desired. I had a 4 year active duty commitment that turned into 8.

Apologies for the length...anyone who served in the military knows exactly what Kurt was saying.

Perhaps there is less enthusiasm for fighting in the military establishment of the sole superpower charged with enforcing collections for the globalist financiers?

Why would anyone want to fight and die for the NWO, the imposition of another level of Global matriarchy and the LGBTQ+ culture?

Who wants to potentially get blown up so some 3rd world hell hole will allow gay marriage ? Frankly it’s a good thing that we have less people signing up for the military , maybe it will make our NeoCon politicians think twice before committing Americans to another war

“Not just swept away—annihilated, defeated utterly and completely, so decisively that our potential opponents around the world watched in stunned horror as it dawned on them what America could do. It could do any damn thing it wanted.”

It has gone downhill ever since.

Today’s average teen just accepts gays the same way.

Except there is a huge difference.

The black man didn't ask to be black, but the gay person seeks it out by choice. The gay person wants to date the average teen and will call them homophobic if they do not accept. The gay person wants to do things that will destroy military morale, esprit-de-corp and feeling safe in the barracks.

There is a difference and ignoring it is what got us to this situation in the first place.

“It could do any damn thing it wanted.”

That was then, this is now. This military can scarcely wet itself with a water pistol. If not for limited and expensive technology it would be close to nothing. Even that edge is fading fast.

Anybody in needs to get out. Don’t give your life to a bunch of woke, perverse and weak leaders who hate you if you are not some form of queer.

30 years is a long time. A long record of decay that was set in motion long before that. America’s greatness is at least under a rock if not gone. I am not proud of this government. Not at all. This government is brought to us by the people that voted for it. I am something more resentful than not proud of them. I loathe their very presence.

Not a military I would want to be an officer in. You could not imagine the fragging that would be present. It would make Nam and the carter years look tame.

A return to the draft? Why?

To those who see a draft as a good thing, allow me to put this in historical context: rich boys have evaded the draft since the Civil War, by buying their way out of it, or going to college on deferments. Reinstituting a draft in 2022 will be another lather, rinse, repeat.

I served at the beginning of the AVF, from 76-84. It was a challenging time, but we saw it through. When I left in 84, the Army had greatly improved, becoming the lethal force that kicked Saddam out of Iraq.

I loved my time in the Army, but it's different now. I have advised my two sons, and half a dozen nephews to stay away. It's the dearth of leadership from the WH on down that is the basis for my opinion.

When you're serving at battery/company level, you have to know the chain of command has your back. My soldiers had my back, and I had theirs.

They did so well destroying the Boy Scouts, they supersized their goals and went after the military.

Even the reelection of Trump can’t undo the damage the left has done to this country for the last seventy years.

And unfortunately one of the worst decision on military history. Combat should have continued unabated until unconditional surrender by Sadam or death/capture of Sadam and agreement with what was left..then a full de-arming and conditional recovery. The 100 hr war sounded good, but left chaos in its wake.

America’s current form of democracy is not worth spreading at any cost. It needs to whimper and die.

I would not fight for it and would not encourage anyone else to either. If the woke left wants to spread their perversion let them be the ones to sacrifice.

Someone in my family has fought in every war since the Revolution. I would not want to see one drop of blood from this family shed for what remains of the United States. It just isn’t worth it anymore.

“...anyone who served in the military knows exactly what Kurt was saying.”

Yup.

If there is no confidence in the leadership, the unit and the mission invariably suffer; or, what’s worse, fail.

The DoD is a massive government bureaucracy, based in the emerald city of Washington DC

OF COURSE its going to be infected by elitist, woke, leftist politics, just as everything else is there.
