trump/musk revenge tour 2024...
our turn to nominate an ineligible african-american...
Go, Ron! 2024 and beyond!
desantis is currently running for reelection for florida governor this year (2022)...
he’s already stated his attention is focused on this year’s election, not a presidential campaign next year...
WRONG. He may wait til after Nov to push it but he will push it and needs to. You are completely wrong (and parroting leftstream media) when stating the majority likes killing babies. Big fat lie right there.
Nope. The polling on the issue has been relatively unchanged over the past twenty years. About 60% of Americans support legal abortion within the first trimester as well as supporting other restrictions such as parental notification laws.
Abortion support falls to a minority position in the second trimester and declines even further in the third.
The liberal position of abortion at any time for any reason is just as politically unpopular as a total ban on abortion.
Republicans enjoyed the foil that Roe provided, allowing them to propose and support extreme abortion laws with the understanding that these would be struck down by the courts. Now that Roe is history, Republican politicians such as Glenn Youngkin and Ron DeSantis are going to have to carefully thread this needle between supporting total bans that could cost them elections and supporting more politically popular limitations that risk angering their base.
But is he a true ‘black’ ?
polllllinggggg.....riiiigggghhhtttt
of course not...
same as the first two ineligibles...
Governors and legislatures need to make it clear that mini-Roe and mini-Casey decisions by judges have zero authority and are superseded by state laws.
The pro-life movement undermines itself when it simultaneously says “babies’ lives begin at conception” [true] and “babies’ lives are more worthy of protection after ___ weeks or ____ months” [false].
Babies need to be protected from conception forward.
All preborn babies want a total ban on abortion from conception forward.
This will be overturned shortly, based on Dobbs decision.
Preborn babies don't vote.
People who refuse to sell them out do.
But not in the numbers that DeSantis needs to win re-election.
And then you get Charlie Crist and legal abortion up until birth.
If you think that the message Dobbs sent is that America is willing to enact total bans on abortion by overwhelming voting majorities, be prepared for a disappointing midterm season.
100%
DeSantis has chutzpah.
Actions speak louder than words.
