Bailey went on Warroom with Steve Bannon, so that’s a huge plus for me in Bailey’s favor. A RINO would never associate with Bannon’s podcast.
I like Bailey, but he’s too far right to win here. It’ll never happen. The state is too deeply blue.
If Irvin hadn’t proved himself such an idiot, he would have been my choice to win, because you have to choose a candidate who CAN win, not just the guy whose ideals you prefer - even though I do prefer Bailey.
Or course Trump was going to pick him. Now he doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in (Dante’s Inferno’s) hell.

The media certainly never said anything like that about Gore’s false grievances in the 2000 Gore War down in Florida or about that idiot Democrat gubernatorial candidate’s false claims in Georgia.
Unfortunately Trump’s worst vice is his vanity- he likes to pick easy winners to make himself look better, even if they turn out to be backstabbers.
The state is not blue...in fact it is deep red, except for Crook County Chitcago and a more downstate college tainted county. Even East St. Louis would be reddish if a conservative would bother to campaign there and enough bold volunteers could be found to man the polls there instead of letting the dems fill up the absentee GOP polling jobs. A bunch of blacks there are conservative when you actually speak with them door to door instead of letting the crooked rats have their way by default, letting them stuff ballot boxes with no show voter ballots because no one is willing to poll watch.
DARREN BAILEY is pro-TRUMP all the way, unlike the Illinois GOP who insists the 2020 election was not stolen.
It ould be the reason why POTUS45 only endorsed two Illinois candidates last night.
The Democrats in my county are uneasy with all-out abortion, LGBTQ+, even CTR.
BAILEY will get a lot of crossover votes in the fall.
