I am going to get hate for this, but this decision does not happen unless Mitch McConnell kept the entire Republican in line for the Garland nomination, and then rammed through the nominations of both Kavanaugh and Barrett. Not to mention being the guy who finally blew up the filibustering of Supreme Court nominees.
Harry Reid.
“Well it worked, didn’t it?”
One of the more odious creatures to ever stink up the Senate, probably. And that’s saying something.
Always wondered who gave him that Tune-Up
No, no hate here. Mitch has screwed us over on so many issues but he does at least deserve credit for his work on judicial nominations.

No hate from me. Imagine if Merrick Garland had been confirmed in 2016.
Mitch is good for one thing.
Mitch is 80% bad. This came from the 20% good part
Ronald Reagan said “There are some people who would have you so stand on principle that if you don’t get all that you’ve asked for, you jump off the cliff with the flag flying...I believe half a loaf is better than none and that...you’re not going to always get everything you want.”
You are so very right. Mitch McConnell deserves a fair amount of recognition for the part he played in making this decision possible.
