Taiwan should be allowed to declare its independence.

I'd rather they continue their claim to the mainland and Hong Kong, too. (The Brit treaty was NOT with the Commies) You know, one China and all.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to back up such declarations with actions as long as we funnel money into the CCP. Somehow we managed to get by before we let the Red Chicoms into the WTO. Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Mexico and India would be better partners for our cheap stuff. S. Korea, Japan, Germany and Taiwan for our good stuff that we aren't presently making.

In all honesty, I have no idea how one can claim that Taiwan needs to be separated from China but Donetsk should stay in Ukraine, given that the situations are identical, except there are more Chinese loyalists in Taiwan than whose who like Kiev in East Ukraine.
