Absolutely a case for a giant lawsuit in the perperator’s favor.
After the multimillion dollar payout for station and gas corporations’ negligence, all tanks will have to have the alcohol content sign include “Danger. Safety Not guaranteed if Patron Siphon’s Gas.”
Those TV ads with a car lifted by a CGI flying saucer, someone racing like in a Gran Prix off road in a pickup and another going off a cliff and then riding away with a happy driver at the wheel, all have at the bottom “Do No Attempt. Filmed On Closed Course.” Duh....

One of the lamest jokes I ever heard was told by a speaker at a gathering I attended once. He claimed he stopped for gas at particular local station and saw a woman smoking as she pumped gas at the pump nearby. She set both of her sleeves on fire and yellow flames were shooting up.
“I wished I could have helped her but I had to decline. It’s illegal for her to have fire arms.”

I saw a similar video on Facebook of a man pouring gasoline on a barbeque grill.
The flames jumped to the can, then he slung the can away splashing gas on himself which ignited, then the trees behind him ignited when the can hit as and he was busy trying to extinguish the fires still on him.
Gasoline and fools don’t mix. Dad taught us how to use gasoline to start a fire without burning yourself years ago.

There was this really sad story from about two years ago where a pretty teenage girl thought it would be a good idea to dump some gas on her neighbor bonfire to get it going again.
I followed the story, she went through hell and eventually over time succumbed to her injuries.
Very sad, she pops up in my mind from time to time..
