You see, this is the problem: everyone talks about “prevention”, but when does “prevention” begin? I do not think that juvenile records should be expunged at 18 yrs old. Deleting records does not erase the crime—that remains a reality, no matter the age of the perpetrator. You do stupid stuff, well, sorry— but that should follow you the rest of your life so the rest of us get the real pictureof what we’re facing. A 14 yr old knocks over a gun store? You want him, at 18, in possession of a firearm?
