San Francisco DA Chesa Boudin, the son of Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert -- both convicted for their roles in the deadly Brink's robbery in Rockland County, was removed from office overnight after a heated recall.
Many felt he was inexperienced and avoided charging criminals, siding with offenders over victims.
But his supporters say his platform is in line with voters who approved measures to reduce sentences. Recalls are increasingly being used in California. You likely remember Gov. Gavin Newsom easily survived one in September. Many political pundits are saying this is a signal to Democrats nationwide to fine-tune their messaging on crime before midterm elections because this issue could threaten their control over Congress. Boudin's parents where among the 11 people convicted in the killings during the infamous 1982 Brinks robbery in Nanuet. The victims included Sgt. Edward Grady, Officer Waverly Chipper Brown and Brinks guard Peter Paige.
This article is hogwash. The Dems don’t need to “fine-tune their messaging”; they need to reverse their actual policy positions and stop winking at crime and criminals.
So how come the same voters voted him OUT in even far, far left San Francisco then?

Not these days. But there are old-fashioned Democrats, like James Carville, who are probably appalled by what their party has turned into. (They’re all cowards though, too afraid of the woke who would gleefully throw them under the bus.)
The leftards will claim that the recall election was fraudulent, just as they did with Trump's election in 2016.

My father was a liberal Democrat (although cynical about all politicians). He would be turning over in his grave if he could see what his party had turned into.
Those people aren’t just criminals, they are domestic terrorists. They were trying to fund their subversive and seditious activities against this country with that robbery.
Simple. Those still enthusiastically supporting him are morons.
That’s not all who voted for him. Some people just don’t pay attention.
A great example is how he got elected. 25% of those, whose first choice was the Police Union candidate, picked him as their second in the 2019 ranked choice vote while the Police Union had said he is the worst. I can not think of any other reason than just not knowing the candidates.
Boudin blamed his recall on “rich conservatives” who collided to cause his downfall. This is, ahem, rich. Considering all that SoreASS $$$$ that helped get him elected
Boudin claims his recall was funded by Right Wing Billionaires.
My parents were among the original members of the #Jexodus movement. They switched parties around the same time Pres Reagan did, and for the same reason. They didn’t leave the party, the party left them.
