We have a lot of liberal Catholics. But they are "cafeteria" Catholics. The Catholics who vote Republican are Conservative and they follow more of what the church teaches.
Yes, I know a heckuva lot of cafeteria Catholics, who pick and choose which parts of the faith they like. They always tell me I am way more conservative than they are. It’s true; I am.
