I don’t understand how people can be stupid enough to swallow the “Putin’s Gas Hike” BS.
It is very disillusioning.
They are doing this deliberately. And succeeding. They may get those high energy costs they have been after for years, but it is going to pull down the entire world and plunge it into chaos, war, and starvation.
I do believe at least one of both of these things are true:
1.) They are too stupid to realize the consequences of what they are doing.
2.) They have done the calculus and determined it is worth the cost, to destroy the entire world to “save” it.
I believe it is both of those things, and I also believe there are a lot of them who think they will be in the privileged ruling class with access to food, energy, and safety.
Our rulers are following rule 2.
Their useful idiot followers are following rule 1.
