I remember when President Trump sent the Navy off their coast.
But I don’t remember the date and how many tests this did after that.
A new update from Yonhap News Agency eight missiles fired short-range ballistic missiles

And I think it’s gonnabe a long long time...
Yes, but intentionally or not, you’ve left out the most important part of the story. Now for the rest of the story.
It’s true that in the first year of Trump’s presidency there was indeed a continuation of testing on the part of North Korea as well as an escalating war of words between Trump and Kim. But that was part of the “negotiation” phase. It eventually lead to, let’s just say, an “understanding” between the two men. Perhaps it had something to do with this”

This “unfortunate” natural disaster occurred in 2018, and oddly enough North Korea’s stance seemed to soften after that. Only two months later Trump and Kim held a historic summit in Singapore where they announced a new era of cooperation between the two countrys as well as a desire to search for ways to denuclearize the Korean peninsula. That never ended up completely materializing but it did lead to a halting of the provocative nuclear and ballistic missile testing from North Korea and a much friendlier relation between the two nations.
After Trump left office we saw North Korea reverting back to it’s old ways. This likely has to do with China’s strong influence over North Korea. A full solution to the North Korea problem will be unlikely to occur until China’s malign influence on the nation is eliminated. The chances of that happening under a Biden presidency are less than zero. Biden is a Chinese puppet and it’s no surprise that we’ve seen North Korea revert back to its old ways since he took office.
I remember in ‘98 when NK fired one over our head (in Japan). Scared the crud out of us.
Yes, but President Trump corrected the situation and if had had a 2nd term as President I doubt if this would be happening. He sees Joe as a very weak President.
Ridiculous. NK resumed ballistic missile testing in 2019 and 2020 with 11 tests, including their first Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile. Once Trump’s peace outreach crumbled, they went right back to business as usual. They didn’t “revert back to their old ways” after Trump left office, they did it during his last 2 years.
“They didn’t “revert back to their old ways” after Trump left office, they did it during his last 2 years.”
Course they did. They never tested any long range ballistic missiles during the remainder of Trump’s term after the unfortunate “accident” at their nuclear facility. If you think Kim didn’t fear Trump a lot more than he fears Biden, you really are delusional. Nort Korea only started long range missile tests in September of 2021. Check your facts, loser.
