“I don’t know which term better applies: Meat Grinder or Cauldron.”

If the Orcs keep shelling and advancing, there won’t be much left to call it a victory.

Putin should have done this back in 2014. When he liberated Crimea.

Yeah, well Putin, the Russian Diplomatic Corps and the Russian Bureaucracy actually believed there was an International System in place to address grievances and differences between Nations without winning all-out War.

It took American Prog Socialist Democrats to prove to the Russians that they owned the International Just Us System, too.

That's why the Russians have changed their behavior.

Except for the fact that the UA took back a big chunk of Severodonetsk and the Russian army in the Izyum salient is no longer combat effective, everything is going swimmingly for the orcs.

The failure to encircle the UA in the Donbas is now Russia's second strategic failure after failing to install a puppet regime in the first phase of the war.

It's not going to be pretty.

Russia has no capacity to deal with Nato nations after struggling so hard with a profoundly weaker nation like Ukraine, and that is even assuming they can get significant forces away from the Ukrainian tar baby.

Russia hasnt got the available military manpower now, and if it were to try to mobilize what it should have it will take 6 months to a year before they can even attempt to cross any borders with some parts of that. Its not got the cadre or facilities or organization to turn their reservists (ex conscript privates with a year of bad training) and mothballed Soviet-era equipment into war-worthy units.

In the meantime such mobilization will be easily detected and Nato countries will respond at least as fast with everything they’ve got, which is vastly more than Ukraine ever had. There will be Spanish and Portuguese troops in Poland by winter I expect.

You Party hacks love to do the inane and meaningless graphics. Is that how you prove your ‘intelligence’?

The United States expected shutting off Russian's VISA cards and access to OnlyFans would cause them to surrender...

Those things would cause Democrats to surrender. :)

Meh, Russia took the villages of Shchurove and Komyshuvakha, cutting all supply routes to Severodonetsk except Bilogorivka, which is an artillery Death Gauntlet.

It'll be the same as Azovstal, a couple more weeks and all the Uke Nazis will end up in prison work details for the rest of their lives.

Or worse.

They haven’t changed their behavior. They showed the same behavior in Georgia.

Sure. Germany and France? Belgium?

This is not serious.

The Russians have been trying to cut the main road to Lysychansk for weeks and have been unable to do so.

The whole area is within artillery range of both sides, which is why losses are so heavy.
