Making it harder to get guns isn’t going to change the outcome when you have someone determined to act like this.
He could have easily walked in there and stabbed 20 people in less than a minute if he wanted to..
Or if you a leave the locked security door open for the gunman….
Or if you have laws disallowing staff from arming themselves…
Or if you ignore the signs the demented kid was sending out for years…
Or if the police show up and do nothing…
Never mind all of these things right? …. Let’s focus on the low hanging fruit….. gun laws…. that stop exactly nothing it would seem as the toughest guns laws in the nation are mandated in the most violent places and those places seem to only get MORE violent.
Are we confiscating cars from drunk drivers???
Banning pools so kids cannot drown???
Banning sports for non-adults because ‘they MIGHT get hurt’???
This is all wrong-—GUNS don’t hurt anyone....Mentally unbalanced people using a gun cause the problem....
There are no mental hospitals to put these persons into——so the rest of us who might have guns are getting PUNISHED???
When someone does do something wrong-—they are turned back onto the street & into the populace in less than a day.
The man who shot the person on the NYC subway had 19 or 20 charges for bad behavior & kept being released.
Why is THAT OK???
Not only that, but could somebody explain to me how constitutional carry makes it easier to get guns? I don’t follow that logic.
Exactly and instead of talking about gun control, we should change the narrative to criminal control, something that dems don’t want. They are good at putting in judges that let out criminals with little or no bail, off to do more crimes. This horrific event may not have been averted, but many horrific events could be.
