Crickets. Wednesday in Reno a burglar was shot and killed by a homeowner while inside the premises. Good job folks. Hopefully they will be able to deal with the events okay.

RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A burglary suspect is dead after a homeowner shot and killed him in Reno on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers with the Reno Police Department responded to the area of Warren Way and West Moana Lane just after 2 p.m. on May 25 on the report of a resident who shot an intruder.

The resident told police he confronted and shot a man who was in the process of stealing property from inside the home.

The burglary suspect was taken to a local hospital where he later died. He has not been identified.
