Civil vessels may safely use the Azov Sea port of Mariupol in Ukraine as the danger from mines has been eliminated, the Russian defence ministry said on Thursday.
It said a maritime humanitarian corridor was opened on Wednesday in the Azov Sea. ...

Key, major development concerimg the transport of grains and goods.
Thought you might be interested.
Have a good one!
Now that Russia will pocket the cash for Ukrainian grain, the ports may open. The ruble is just starting its ascent.
Apparently, the Mariupol port is outside the Black Sea mine chaos that engulfs the port of Odessa.
But, but...it’s from Reuters! A western news agency. According to you pro-Russia FReepers, it must be propaganda. Or, is it only propaganda if it does not comport with your narrative?
Wrong.
You can be against both Putin and Zelensky (as I am), point out they are both autocrats who have shut down opposition parties painting them with a broad brush, point out how they have both jailed opposition leaders and shut down media outlets critical of them painting them all with a broad brush.
You can point out the numerous, expensive, huge homes Zelensky has and that he’s worth hundreds of millions when this is an impossiblity, his ties to Soros, the WEF, and the scum of the earth, which all true conservatives are opposed to.
And you can point out that Putin will not invade a NATO member, that Europe is capable of dealing with Putin, and that’s it’s time for them to grow up.
You can point out the days of funding wars or putting boots in the ground is over because Americans are tired of it and its not our job, plus we are broke, 30 trillion in debt, and can’t even protect our own borders.
But some here at FR because they are either neocons or Democrats and know Biden needs our involvement in this war to take attention off his abysmal failures at home.
And on top of it all they won’t say one thing against Biden, the 10%, Klaus Schwab, the WEF, etc, but deflect to something else.
So you have to focus primarily on Biden using this war as a shiny object to deflect attention away from his abysmal record at home, habe to point out the nefaroous forces Zelensky is in bed with, etc, or you are a Biden supporter at the very least,
Good on Putin.
But you won’t go after the deep corruption in Ukraine, Soros funding Zelensky rising to the top, how he and others at Davos are plotting against us, etc, because you’d rather set up Straw Man arguments in your post and deflect.
Now say something about Biden and the mess he’s gotten us into.
“So you have to focus primarily on Biden using this war as a shiny object to deflect attention away from his abysmal record at home, habe to point out the nefaroous forces Zelensky is in bed with, etc, or you are a Biden supporter at the very least.”
Nice try, Sparky. The only thing I wanted from the beginning of this war was for Russia to get back to its own borders, and leave Ukraine to settle its own affairs. I don’t and never did want to see Russia invaded and destroyed, BY ANYONE (though it’s far more likely China will do it than anyone else). But if one is cheering on Russia in this war, then one is cheering for the destruction of Ukraine. So, who is the warmonger here?
It’s a false dichotomy to say that one is automatically a Biden supporter if one opposed the Russian invasion ab initio. But, I’ve noticed that fallacious conclusions are part and parcel of the “arguments” so often put forth by the pro-Russia cabal. Pretty sad.
“How else can RUS sell the grain and have it transported idiot.”
Now how in the hell is your comment logically responsive to my post about Reuters?
Annnnnnd you continue to enable Biden, neocons, furthering the bankrupting of America (we are 30 trillion in debt) via supporting tens of billions of dollars going to an unregulated slush fund for Ukraine when no telling how much will end up in the pockets of corrupt politicians, while Americans do without, etc, etc.
“Russia says civil vessels may use Mariupol port, mine danger lifted”
And in a few days we’ll no doubt be treated to the news of some Russian navy ship hitting a Russian mine.
Since you two are the most active, please answer this:
If a ship were to hit a Sea Mine near Mariupol, who is the bad guy, Zelensky or Putin??
If someone clears the Sea Mines near Mariupol, who is the good guy, Putin or Zelensky??
Perspective is everything.

Why, you pathetic little clown. I’ve said Ukraine was corrupt as hell since the beginning. I’ve said Russia was corrupt as hell from the beginning. I’ve said the US is corrupt as hell from the beginning. But I don’t want to see the Ukrainian people suffer because they have a corrupt leader, just as I don’t want the Russian people to suffer because they have a corrupt leader, and just as I don’t want the American people to suffer because we have a corrupt leader.
But they do suffer. And that’s just reality. It’s not nice; it’s not “right;” but it has been the nature of things for many millennia.
Are there megalomaniacs who have visions of grandeur? Of world domination? Of course there are; there always HAVE been. Some even gain some traction. But, guess what? They always fail in the end. Always.
Come back to planet earth, son. Put away the tin foil hat and stop listening to late night talk radio.
