When I went to the University of Buffalo in 1964 to 1968 the regents scholarship I got was for all the tuition. Not a bad deal then. I guess times have changed.

Yea, but the SUNY tuition room and board was $1500/year for in state residents.

AND you could buy a case of OV Splits at Mulligans Brick Bar in Allentown for $9 on Monday nights.

Labatt’s Blue went on sale for $4.99/case at Consumers Beverage

They changed back in the late 80s, early 90s, I think.

I had a Regents scholarship and it was $1000 for the four years, so $125 per semester. However, I attended Brooklyn College, which was cheaper than. Between this and financial aid, most of tuition was taken care of.

A few years later, that $1000 was reduced to something ridiculous, like $200 ($25/semester).
