The Naftogaz Maneuver: Ukraine’s Twilight as a Western Country?
THE GLOBALIST ^ | 5/16/22 | Suriya Evans-Pritchard Jayanti

When Volodymyr Zelensky was elected as Ukraine’s new president in 2019, there was hope he would continue reforms. It evaporated quickly.

We may now be watching the slow death of the Ukrainian people’s dreams of becoming a western oriented country

The first sign of trouble came when Andriy Bohdan was appointed as Zelensky’s first Chief of Staff. He had long served as the Ukrainian oligarch Kolomoysky’s lawyer. (Kolomoysky moved back from exile in Israel to Ukraine on the day after Zelensky’s inauguration.)

Things only worsened with Zelensky’s second Chief of Staff, Andriy Yermak. He has reportedly been identified as a Russian agent by British intelligence service MI-6.

In his actions, Zelensky has proven counter-reform, too. Among the troubling indications have been moves such as the quashing of judicial reform and working to fire the head of the Anti-Corruption Authority.

So many words with no mention of Soros and Western Intelligence agency influence. Ukraine has been a cash cow and money laundering operation for crooked politicians since the fall of the Soviet Union.

I was listening to Peter Zeihan talk about Ukraine. He said that five to ten million Ukrainians who fled will be a demographic godsend to wherever in Europe they settle. The chances of them going home, ever, is slim. That’s because the infrastructure they’d need, power, buildings, is gone and likely will not be rebuilt to the same level and density. Virtually all of the Western nations, save the US, Australia, and New Zealand were in terminal demographic decline. Russia has reached the point where if they didn’t take Ukraine this year, they wouldn’t have enough conscripts to ever do it. While some of this is driven by demographics, a lot of it is driven by what Putin sees as his “legacy.” He wants to be remembered Peter the Great, or Stalin. (He has a favorable opinion on Stalin and the old USSR.)

Salon, 2/2/22: “...The most critical events that have been airbrushed out of the West’s political narrative are the violation of agreements made by Western leaders at the end of the Cold War not to expand NATO into Eastern Europe, and the U.S.-backed coup in Ukraine in February 2014... in which an armed mob led by the neo-Nazi Right Sector militia stormed the Ukrainian parliament, forcing elected President Viktor Yanukovych and members of his party to flee for their lives. ...”

An Obamabot Color Revolution was taking place in Ukraine reminiscent of the Antifa Summer of Love in 2020, Yanukovych tried to put it down and was rewarded with a no confidence vote.

Very true. Putin has mentioned these events often, but his words are ignored by our corrupt political/media class.

When I look at the date of this article and the others from him, he’s turned on his masters.

No doubt Biden is putting the pinch on India. I guess only some nations get to have self-determination in Biden’s view.

Recently released audio, that WION has spoken of, detailed that verbal promises were given in exchange for German reunification.

Don’t you understand?

Everyone who doesn’t agree with Russia’s idiotic world view is a neocon nazi.

I think this is all the russians on here have to go with.
Since Zelinsky is kicking putin’s ass all over the map.
It’s pretty sad actually.

Yanukovich was a russian stooge put in by a corrupt russian election.

Not unlike biden.

Yanukovich is ukraine’s biden. The difference is that ukraine ran him out of town.

your antifa comparison is idiotic.

whats it like to lose a military in the cluster fuck of a war your country is waging?

The U.S. has broken written treaties before in the past.

Secondly, NATO is rogue and has broken its own charter. It offensively attacked Libya on Odumba’s behalf when Libya was threatening any NATO member, and did so on unproven allegations that Gaddafi was going to kill 10k of his own people. But Obamabots have given every wxcuse for NATO doing this.

“Everyone who doesn’t agree with Russia’s idiotic world view is a neocon nazi.”

Yup. That’s pretty much the thing here.

I will say before this recent drama in Ukraine unfolded I was of the opinion that the Russians were mostly decent people led by a gangster.

Now after seeing the endless propaganda of the Putin Troll Army I’m of a mind that the Russians are a bunch of ignorant savages willingly led by a gangster.

Yanukovuch was legally elected.

He was deposed by an Obama coup, one of many from Obama.

You deflect from this because you are obviously a Democrat Obama supporter.

When Volodymyr Zelensky was elected as Ukraine’s new president in 2019, there was hope he would continue reforms. It evaporated quickly.

When Zelensky campaigned for President, he was considering the "anti-corruption" candidate - but also the peace and negotiation candidate. He was told by the extreme-nationalist forces (who were the muscle for the CIA's deep state coup in 2014) that if he took one step towards implementing the Minsk Agreements, or stopping the war in Donbas - he would be killed.
