If Dr. Oz won, then that may be a very good sign of things to come. He has no “natural” constituency and ran on two things: (1) name recognition; and (2) no political background. I have no confidence in his politics but I will be pleased to see voters pick a TV clown over feckless, tiresome politicians any day of the week.
He will have triumphed over Goldman Sachs machine.
I don’t know where Oprah was in all of this but she might have been pulling strings behind the scenes
