Conservative pundit Meghan McCain blasted Fox News host Tucker Carlson for using the name of her father, the late Republican senator from Arizona, to insult Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas).
“You know the more I think about it, it takes a lot of gall for eye-patch McCain to attack moms who are worried about baby formula as pro-Russia,” Carlson said on his nightly show Monday.
Carlson was referring to Crenshaw’s recent criticism of lawmakers who do not support sending money and arms to Ukraine amid its ongoing war with Russia.

McCain was a grade A weasel, defending him will be a full time job for Meghan.

Meghan got the goofy gene from her dad. Juan was a backstabber who loved foreign adventures, as is Crenshaw.
Meghan would be nothing but an overweight Karen without her last name.
Tucker has every right to make fun of John McCain, Dan Crenshaw, me, or anyone else. We don’t have a nobility in this country. Everyone is fair game.
But the eye-patch thing was in very poor taste, and probably shouldn’t have been referenced. Crenshaw lost an eye in combat. He didn’t lose it falling off a bar stool.
McCain was a proud Maverick who often went against his own party. Identifying that known behavior is fair game. Perhaps Meghan should have slammed her father for being such a poor Republican.
Does this mean Meghan’s hubby will no longer appear on Fox?

When Tucker called Crenshaw “eyepatch McCain” I about fell out of my chair laughing. Tucker is a Freeper!

It’s a description, like “the guy with the eyepatch” and Crenshaw has been called worse.
Tucker knows Crenshaw is a solid patriot. Crenshaw can handle some light criticism.

Could be. It also could be that WE are losing the culture war because we have been too nice, clutched our pearls, and said “tsk tsk” at things like this.
Ridicule is the most effective Alinsky tool. RATs use it to their advantage effectively. We need to do the same. McCain was injured in the military and worked against us. We ridiculed him. If Crenshaw is working against us, then ridicule is appropriate.
I’m sure this isn’t the popular opinion, but we need to be on these people like stink on s—t all the time. Put our fainting couches in storage.
