This is an object lesson for anyone who thinks they can be “left alone” by the government. Those White Supremacist rallies back then had more govt agents and reporters at the rally than White Supremacists. The undercover FBI and ATF agents even tried to arrest each other from time to time as they tried to fool WSes into committing crimes.
If I remember correctly, the FBI approached Randy Weaver to get him to be an informer on the Aryan Nation who had a camp in the area, when he refused, all his problems began.
I think it was the Aryan Nation, if not it was some other White Supremacy Group in Northern Idaho.

Vicky was opening the door for Kevin Harris as he ran to the house for shelter after Horiuchi’s first shot wounded him. Horiuchi shot through opposite side of the open door aiming for Harris but blew Vicki’s head apart. He was shooting blind.
His testimony in court was chilling; it makes you wonder if he’s missing the mammalian part of his brain.
