On average, more than 300 Americans still dying of COVID-19 every day
Although COVID-19 death rates are significantly lower than they were
in the winter of 2021, when more than an average of 3,400 Americans
were dying from the virus every day, the death toll is still averaging
more than 300 a day, according to federal data.
