In today’s United States, contraception is freely available to those who cannot afford it. Why get pregnant and then kill the fetus? Especially cruel is late term abortion. At that stage the baby is fully capable of surviving outside mother’s womb, and feels the same degree of pain any human being feels when stabbed to death. It is a revolting practice.

I have a different view. I was adopted at birth in 1960. I’ve recently met my birth mother and know a little about the sperm donor. If I was conceived post Roe, I would not be here today.
This is NOT a woman’s issue. This is about the child she carries. A woman does have the right to choose. Her choice was made when she had sex.
What about those who were raped? Okay, they lacked a choice. Yet, the result is still an innocent life.
This is about the child as much as it’s about the woman. I was one of those children. I grew up to build a multi-million dollar company that’s helped thousands of small businesses. My younger half-sister, who was adopted at birth is one of the country’s top artists. My older half-sister, who was adopted at birth is a C.S. Lewis scholar. My younger half-brother is a geologist helping America’s energy security. This doesn’t include the impact of our children.
This is not only about the woman.
It’s time to make Roe vs. Wade something freeloading “refugees” have to decide when sneaking across the Rio Grande to bash the big pinata.
Until then, if you want an abortion, buy a Greyhound ticket to any of the aforementioned states and do what you have to do.
Yes all the states that never wanted abortions in the first place will ban them. CA, NY and WA will always be abortion destinations among many others.
