Former Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” that she believed Democrats had to make the 2022 midterm election “a battle over abortion.”
Discussing the Supreme Court potentially overturning Roe v Wade, guest-host Peter Alexander said, “Senator, let’s focus on the raw politics of this if we can. Democrats, as you know well, do not have the votes right now to try to overturn the filibuster. Isn’t trying to eliminate the filibuster a fool’s errand.”

Abortion existed long before Roe V Wade... Roe V Wade was WRONG legally... regardless of the morality of abortion, it was the court literally usurping the legislative process... it should have NEVER happened.
The legislatures are where these things are decided, not granted by fiat by the courts.
The courts have done this MULTIPLE times since Roe, and that’s the real reason the left is going nuts... a constitutional court will strike down all the things that overstepped... and they will be back to having to actually get laws passed and win elections on these things... and generally they know they can’t.
Yes, please make abortion a midterm issue, I am more than willing to have that fight.
