Russia’s ambitions are right off the Florida coast. Cuba is still there, an outpost for Russia, and it is still a prison island. And Venezuela, a more recent outpost of Russia.

You just outlined the 200 year-old Monroe Doctrine. We are a strong and proud country and our security demands will not accept any military alliances in our HEMISPHERE.

And yet with Ukraine, you happily feed a destructive war, promote US-sponsored coups against elected Presidents, push for NATO enlargement - all right on Russia's border. You have a very broad demand for security for the USA, but offer absolutely none to Russia. And the neocons act surprised and butt-hurt when Russia or other nations don't accept this obvious hypocrisy.

Unfortunately, our deep-state in Washington DC are this silly and arrogant too. Or, they get it, but their extreme cynicism and corruption forces them to ignore it.

I think posters who continually use hyperbole and superlatives as they berate and denigrate their fellow posters should be kicked off the site. 🤣

People here don’t have to support Putin or Zelensky. They can support neither. If one supports Zelensky though they are in bed with those he is, like Biden, Soros, Nina Jankowicz, the WEF, etc, which means they are a libtard.

The argument we have to stop Putin or he’ll take Europe is a debunked argument and was argued here by the libtards at FR. NATO can easily stop him if he goes into a NATO member country.

The argument we have to intervene on humanitarian grounds is rooted in libtard, military quasi-neocon grounds. If one supports giving aid though to Ukraine they still have to challenge the globalists, Soros, Zelenskyz, Nina Jankowicz, etc, or they are libtard, anti-conservatives. I don’t see the usual suspects here doing that. Instead they get triggered and deflect to Putin like a Maddow bot.

All I have to say here today. I need a break from these soon to be lying, Ukrainian hack, Nina Jankowicz employees here.

[So stupid

Russia isn’t going to WWIII

They can’t]

Nuclear threats don’t cost anything, so that’s actually a pretty good move on Putin’s part. If it keeps Ukraine from getting better or more equipment, why the heck not utter it? It’s not as if, in response, Biden is going to burn Russia’s cities to the ground.

Domestically, this rhetoric is necessary to prepare the ground for a nationwide draft. The Russians are running out of uninjured front-line troops. They need more manpower at the front.

Putin can’t exactly say to Russians - “I tried to become Vladimir the Greater on a budget, but this effort failed miserably, so I’m doubling down”. So he’s got to go on and on about how his foot on Ukraine’s throat is actually the West’s foot on Russia’s throat. When Hitler went on about how extirpating Jewish and Communist influences were the cause of his crusade in the East, it was similarly a fig leaf for his quest for personal glory. Again, no leader is gonna say - my ego, my quest to match Alexander’s achievements is the reason you’re risking life and limb - he’d be thought a sociopathic dirtbag and be courting a coup or an assassination.

You can’t play up biolabs and flawed leadership, then take
the gas preserves and leave the biolabs alone and the
leadership in tact.

Surely you guys can decipher some of this on your own.

Russia is taking away all of the Ukraine’s sea access.

Do you really think that is reasoned?

Going in, taking territory, refusing to give it back, yes
that is pretty much an imperial act.

“The argument we have to intervene on humanitarian grounds is rooted in libtard, military quasi-neocon grounds”
That was the approach to try out some new weapon systems and terrorise the Serbs into giving up their ‘Jerusalem’. it’s just so fallacious. Why has there never been intervention for the Karen in Burma? It’s the longest running continuous separatist insurgency on the planet. Untold suffering. Yet basically crickets from neocon retards

Putin is not my enemy.

Putin outright said in February that he wants to re-establish the USSR. He kills his political rivals. He conducts brutal invasions of neighbors. He's corrupt beyond belief.

To the extend that these items affect the US - and the first one does - he should be your enemy.

The warmongering clowns in DC are.

Indeed they are your enemy.

They BOTH are the enemy of freedom-loving non-corrupt people of the world.

I despise the pro-Putins on here, and while I think the Ukes are right to defend their country against an unprovoked invasion, I have no illusions about their corrupt government.

This could go sideways at any moment, however, especially since our President, Vice-President and Congress are below average intelligence.

I am going to buy a big bag of rice and a case of canned chicken and a bunch of vitamins tomorrow, and all my FReinds should do so too.

Let’s discuss the region along the southern coast of the
Ukraine. The AZOV Gas Preserves are under the land the
Russians captured, and that land is the land access to the
under water AZOV Gas Preserves.

Is it your take that was reasoned?

I know he used the biolabs as a reason to move in. When he
ignored them, and took the land that was rich in resources,
it seems to me he lost some of the high ground.

I see things I don’t like that the West did. I see some
things I don’t think Russia should have done either.

I don’t like the people of the Ukraine having their lives
turned upside down, people’s family members and homes
destroyed. I’m not a bleeding heart, but I understand how
kids lives and the lives of families are impacted by
things like this.

I’m not here hating on Russia, but this war is very
destructive. As time goes buy, it looks more and more
like a strategic land grab as much as anything else.

If Russia wants to redraw Ukraine’s borders, the West can hardly complain.

Why don’t you Putin frauds stop changing the subject. Russia invaded Ukraine because of Putin’s imperial ambitions. Putin and China are our enemies.

Stop all your bs smokescreens about Soros, WW3 and every other made up excuse.

I think you misstate where most of those FReepers are coming from. Let me summarize where I am at.

I am for regime change in Moscow.

I am for regime change in Ukraine.

I am for regime change in Washington.

I think we should at minimum not be involved in a war between Ukraine and Russia until the leadership of this country comes clean on all the payoffs and dirty dealings with Ukraine, Russia, and China. In particular Hunter Biden and Burisma, and Paul Pelosi and Viscoil/NRGLab. But there are plenty of others.

Since that’s not going to happen, we shouldn’t be involved. If you think that makes me “pro-Putin”, see item one.

Russian trolls know about as much of U.S. history as they are allowed to know of Russian history.

The Monroe Doctrine didn’t say European countries couldn’t have armies or navies in this hemisphere. It said that European countries that invaded any republic in this hemisphere would be taken as threatening us.

A good illustration of the Monroe Doctrine is when the French sent an army into Mexico and set up a foreign ruler (Emperor Maximilian I) during our Civil War. We were tied up at the time. But, after the war, we were helpful to the Republicans seeking to expel the French and over Maximilian I.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_French_intervention_in_Mexico#Downfall

So, the parallel would be Russia saying it will consider an invasion of a near republic to be a threat to it. The parallel is NOT that Russia can be an invader of its near republics.

This is the “October Surprise” to win midterms. They all think they will defeat Russia in the next few months, thereby solidifying their win for midterms. This is a dangerous game playing with nukes in order to make political gains. If Russia does launch, say, from a sub off the coast and takes out DC, the Democrats will have gambled it all away and killed a few million people. This is serious, Democrats think this is just a political game. Putin has already hinted at hitting London for Englands assistance of Ukraine. Now with the Pelosi visit where she has committed the US for the conflict, Putin will respond in kind. This is a very dangerous game. Nukes are real, and the US is the only country to have used them in a conflict. And Putin has an arsenal that could destroy the entire US. Democrats playing with the lives on millions for political gain

Never in my wildest dreams was I wear that so many Freepers support Putin. They should be thrown off the site and out of the country.

LOL! For the entire Cold War we kept the peace with Russia by strength and boundaries. We respected theirs. They respected ours. Now our idiot politicians have ousted and elected President of Ukraine and funded / trained Ukraine to wage war on its breakaway Russian states. We poked an already upset momma bear. Now we want nuclear war? Prepare your children to fight along side Pelosi’s children. We will gofundme you!

+1

It takes some digging today to find any news that approaches a balanced opinion. And it’s not Fox.

The otherization of enemies, the celebration of death and destruction. We are being led into something most folks here, born after Vietnam, cannot comprehend.

But just a little more, a few more bodies, a few more bullets, and victory will certainly be ours.
