Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelensky warned on Friday that Russia’s invasion of his country was just the beginning, predicting Russian forces would become a threat to other countries in the region.
In a video address uploaded on Facebook and Telegram, Zelensky said Russia was preparing to move into a breakaway region of Moldova, a small country bordering Ukraine and Poland.

If I want certain he’s right, I wouldn’t go to such lengths to try and stop Putin now.
Unfortunately, while some of us here are unaware of it, Putin already has stated further expansion goals AND has demanded we withdraw from numerous NATO countries.
And then there’s China.
If we don’t defeat the Russians in Ukraine our boys will have to fight them on the landing beaches of England and Virginia! 🙀🙀

Zelensky is chicken little but he’s desperate to gin up support for his country. He’ll do or say whatever it takes.

It’s not theoretical that Russia wants to invade most of its neighbors.
Under Putin at various times they have pushed troops into Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Armenia, and Kazakhstan. If you border Russia and are not in NATO Putin sees you as easy prey.
After Odessa, Transnistria and Moldova.
After the Russian performance in Ukraine, I don’t think Putin wants to take on a NATO country, even a satellite NATO country like Latvia or Estonia.
No worries, it will all be over by Christmas...2027.
Prior to this war Putin’s demand was that NATO withdraw from all former Warsaw Pact counties. IOW all of Eastern Europe.
Because Ukraine wasn’t a walkover, Moldova and the Baltics are off the table. But, had it folded in a few days, Russia would have digested Ukraine, then moved west for it’s next conquest. IMHO, anyway.
Russia's "clown car" army can't even take Kiev, but we're supposed to believe that very same army "will go beyond Ukraine" - oh, you betcha! Zelensky obviously has a second career available, as a world-class professional shark jumper...
