Similar move at Philly...Philadelphia is now the ONLY city in the US to have a vax or mask mandate. Just reinstated yesterday.
So, they are fascist lawbreakers. Good to know.

FWIW, I returned to Chicago last Friday from Hilton Head via
Charlotte. I did not wear a mask in any of the airports and I was not hassled at all. People looked at me as if I was strange, but that’s their problem. In fact, I walked right in front of three Chicago cops and was totally ignored.
Of course, I was forced to wear a mask on the two flights, but they were short flights.
Are lawsuits in order for the fascist governing bodies of these airports?
Living around O’Hare, I promise you they are going by Illinois mandates. While we are no longer forced to mask in public, transit mandates appear to still be in effect. I’m sure their enforcement varies, too.
Screw ‘em. I think everyone with any authority knows that people have had enough.
Even Boston Logan dropped the mask mandate. Chicago is worse than Boston? Who knew?
Since when can every little Tom, Dick, Harry jurisdiction impose mask mandates in violation of a federal court order? Who gave them the power? They must be held in contempt and punitively fined into oblivion.
My eye doctor is part of a huge surgery center with dozens of doctors and probably seventy-plus other employees. They are insane about enforcing the mask to the point of ordering patients who won’t comply to leave...loudly and insultingly. My doctor said, “I hate this (the mask.) It’s medically ridiculous but if I don’t wear it, I’m ‘accused’ of being conservative. If I do wear it, I’m supporting Biden. That’s how they see it...supporting Biden.” Yes, she said, “accused.” Accused of being conservative. It’s almost like we’re in the Middle Ages and being accused of witchcraft.
“Suggests? WTF does that mean?”
It’s a focus group word designed to appeal to those idiot white liberal women. Just like “requests.”
Few (20-25 %) wearing them here in Miami. We will see what happens in CDG in Paris.
I think the airports are owned by the cities. And like philly you need a mask in the airport but don’t get freedom until you get on the plane. i think.
So the Chicago shooters can get away out of town.
Considering the court order I will not accept any demand from a government employee about masks. If they want to tell me the airport terminal manager maintains this policy then a terminal employee can come and tell me in person.
