Russian Major General Vladimir Frolov, deputy commander of the 8th Army, was buried Saturday after being killed in combat in Ukraine, Russian state media reported, making him the eighth Russian general believed to have been killed in Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine.
Key Facts A funeral for Frolov was held at a cemetery in St. Petersburg, according to the Russian news agency TASS.
St. Petersburg Gov. Alexander Beglov said Frolov fought in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine, TASS reported, without elaborating.
Some of the generals who were killed were veterans of Russian operations in Georgia and Syria, the Wall Street Journal reported, depriving the Kremlin of experienced leaders.
Key Background As of the end of March, around 14 Russian generals and senior colonels had been killed–a notable death toll likely to have disrupted Russia’s front-line operations. An unnamed Pentagon official said on March 25 that “it's not surprising to us to see that there are [Russian] generals on the battlefield” and vulnerable to Ukrainian fire. The official said Russians “don't delegate very well,” adding they “do not invest a lot of responsibility” in junior-level officers and “don't have a non-commissioned officer corps.”

Never any mention of Ukrainian Generals being killed
But what’s really amazing, is the Ukranians apparently have not lost a single commander, and maybe no soldiers either? ‘Cause I never hear of Ukranian casualties...
Pooty Poot is gonna be steamed! Again! These Ukie pests are more lethal than Covid.xyz, which Pooty had a bad case of. It deranged and disarranged his mind, along with the long Covid he is ailing from.
His mug is swollen from the steroids he is taking for cancer. Some reports say thyroid cancer. Pooty Poot cannot drop dead soon enough.
Have there been any Ukrainian soldiers or officers killed? Injured? Scratched?
How many times is the death of General Frolov going to be posted here?
I was expecting a different name this time as I read the title of this thread but it’s the same “news” (note the quotes) over and over again.
But we will get the Bidenbots shouting “pooty poot” and thinking they are clever.
They don’t have any.
“Never any mention of Ukrainian Generals being killed”
This is for the Rooskies to announce for their propaganda. They are too discombobulated to do this. Discombobulated from vodka probably.
But now I am beginning to think there is a heck of a lot of sabotage going on internally. In Russia and in the Russian armies in Ukraine.
So are the Uk’s killing all of these Russian generals/colonels?
Or are they being fragged by Russian troops, who do not want to be killed for Putin or Mother Russia.
Wiki says the US has 231 generals and from what I can find it looks like Russia has over 1,000.
Target rich environment. .
“How many times is the death of General Frolov going to be posted here?”
I did a FR search and found just one post here with Frolov in the title. >>>>> https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/4055575/posts
Frolov? How many times can he die? It seems practically every day we get a new report of his “heroic death.” Does he resurrect each morning, and then get killed again?
You need a lot more Russian Generals to lead at the front.
what’s going on with the reporting on all these russian generals being killed in the UKE conflict?
I don’t think we’ve ever had this many US GFOs lost in any of our modern conflicts ???

Some of them are likely out of harm’s way cutting deals with Chinese agents to deliver specimens of the high tech portable weaponry they are being given by the hundreds and thousands.
Americans and their allies may now be facing effective knockoffs of those weapon systems in future conflicts.
Fragging in some cases. I am thinking that there is a lot of foot dragging and sabotage in the Russian Army ranks. The average Russian soldier does not like fighting his fellow Christian Slavs. Only moron Putin thought invading Ukraine was a boffo idea. All his top advisors were afraid to tell Pooty NO!
My understanding - a bit dated but still probably accurate - is that the Russians utilize a lot more officers than we do, since their military doctrine is much more ‘top down’.
Geolocations of their cell phones being picked up by Ukrainian (actually more likely American) signals intercepts. Rich precise timely targeting information.

Excellent point. And we’ve heard no mention of it. So either the Ukrainian generals are all leading from the rear, or Russia has no idea of what’s really going on at the front.
