Surgeon General Murthy: Travel Is ‘Unique’ Because It Can Be ‘Higher Risk’ Due to Crowds and People Have to Travel

During an interview with CBS’ “Red and Blue” on Wednesday, Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy defended the transit mask mandate even as masks are not required in other indoor settings by arguing that travel is different because “you bring a lot of people together in a closed environment for a prolonged period of time,” and “many people don’t have the option not to travel.”

Murthy said, “So, the CDC’s decision is based in part on the fact that, look, we have cases going up right now and what the CDC wants to be able to understand is the trajectory of those cases. … We are also seeing hospitalizations relatively flat, which is good. We hope that they don’t surge, and certainly nothing like we saw in January. But the CDC wants to be mindful of this and wants to keep an eye on it before it pulls back those types of federal mask requirements on planes.”

Blah, blah, blah by another needless appointee. I’ve never gotten a clear explanation why there is a Surgeon General, other than the history behind it. It’s now clear that Fauxi is the decider for medical policies.

How many people touch their mask and then touch things around them?

How many people swap out masks every 10-15 minutes as they become damp?

How many people wear them properly and have a good fit?

Stop 🛑 the show. People are paying for this, these are private citizens, these are private businesses, there such things as rights... This is a show, a theater production where some actors are still on stage and haven’t realized that their act is over. The new show is Ukraine. Time to exit the stage. Do it gracefully. Take credit! Claim you saved the nation! But move aside now.

They’re just working up to limiting travel and herding people into cities.

Four or give generations ago my ancestors traveled the ocean in steerage and the plains on foot. I think I can risk the flu.

When they shut the federal government down because of Covid, what changed?

When literally about 75% of the federal workforce stayed at home and pretended to stay busy for about 6-8 months, what happened?

Most of these appointed goofballs are selling themselves and how important their program is, but truth be told, if you shut down the department of education and just not tax people as much, we’d all be better off. Some agencies we can get rid of all together because they are WORTHLESS. Others are REDUNDANT (you have something like 150 different federal law enforcement entities). Most non-defense agencies, even those you do need like a Department of State can do their job with 1/2 the people and budget. They might need to focus on doing their job rather than advocate for LGBTQIA+ around the world, giving all their employees time off to go to the parade, but it can be done.

Most of these federal agencies and departments are borderline effective. Forget about efficiency. They can do everything except their actual job.

So 75,000 Fans at the NCAA BB Finals were not a lot of people in a crowded place?

Don’t forget Murthy is married to a known Chinese Spy.
