Yes, you are an outlier, but it’s understandable. The melody, though primitive, is quite appealing. But that’s the hook that snags the fish. The lyrics, should they stand alone as true poetry, would be considered by all to be ludicrously trite and puerile. But when modified by a pretty melody, they “sorta” sound inspiring. Again, I emphasize “sorta.”

But to each his own and good for you for being an FR outlier!
