All of this argument for social media censorship of “dangerous” viewpoints is an establishment snow job. The target of the censorship is John and Jane Q. Public. Anyone who says it’s not is lying.

It takes a lot of money to become a board member of Twitter, but not a lot else apparently. Have the journalists at WaPo ever heard of Jeff Bezos?

Interesting coming from a newspaper owned by Jeff Bezos, second (or third?) richest man in the world and founder of Amazon.com, one of China’s biggest business partners.

Bezos is royally p!ssed off that Musk bought himself a better platform with a louder megaphone than the one Bezos bought for himself ...

“Musk’s appointment to Twitter’s board shows that we need regulation of social-media platforms to prevent rich people from controlling our channels of communication.” — Washington Post (owned by Jeff Bezos).
Apparently they prefer to have government controlling our channels of communication.

Ellen Pao was the censor-in-chief CEO at Reddit who got fired. She was also married to the gay black investment banker, Buddy Fletcher, who sued Kidder Peabody for racial discrimination after being fired for cause. Then he went to start a fund management firm that had to liquidate its assets due to a margin call.

To the left, free speech involves controlling what people can say. I guess it takes a special kind of intellect, or lack thereof, to make sense of it. Ignorance is strength.

I didn’t know free speech had certain visions. Free speech is free speech.
