There are literally hundreds of January 6 political prisoners in DC jails, patriots just like some who are reading here, and that did nothing wrong to deserve languishing in jails crawling with cockroaches (seriously, roaches), held without bail, awaiting trial as federal prosecutors attempt to assemble and stretch facts to substantiate frivolous charges made against these prisoners.
Jeff McKellop is but one among hundreds that languishes away in a rotting cell.

Like millions of other Americans across our nation that day, Jeff was "embittered" and "distressed" about the "nefarious" acts that were taking place during the elections that had ultimately led up to that unforgettable and dreadful day.
With that being said, he also made the last minute decision to get in his car that day, and drive up to D.C. to show his full support for his nation and our President, Donald Trump.
Later that day when he arrived, like many other patriots, he followed the masses to the Capitol, and found himself near the frontline.
As the day went on, the crowd got restless, and the Capitol Police began throwing tear gas out at the masses.
Jeff got caught up in the juncture, and "allegedly" pushed, grabbed, and threw a stick at the police. This was the so-called "alleged" intensity of what he "allegedly" did on that fateful day.
These "supposed" actions put a target on Jeffs head in the weeks to follow.
He was "alerted" by colleagues, that he was on the FBI's wanted list, and rightfully turned himself in with no hesitation.
Naturally, like anyone else in his situation, Jeff thought this would be quickly taken care of without a problem or any second thoughts about it.
With that being said, this is where things took an unlawful, inequitable, and inferior turn for him and many others that day.
Unknowingly, to Jeffs surprise the media and the Capital Police contrived "claims" that he was some "leader" of a "radical right wing group", and that he was "leading" and "orchestrating" the attack on the Capitol that day.
They also made "allegations" that he was a "White Supremist", and that he was there that day for the purpose of "overthrowing" our government.
"THIS IS PURE INSANTIY, AN OUTRIGHT AND AN INACCURATE "LIE"!
I have known Jeff for 21 years and I know for a "FACT" that none of what they are "asserting" about Jeff is legitimate.
Jeff is the "EPITOME" of an "AMERICAN PATRIOT." This "noble" man has served his country for nearly 30 years! Most of that time was spent away from his family in a combat zone serving, protecting, and sacrificing his life for our great nation.
In addition, Jeff also served in some of the the Army's most "Elite" Groups!
To name a few, the 101st Airborne Division, 2nd Ranger Batallion, 3rd Special Forces Group, and then as a civilian supporting OGA's overseas.
It is "REVOLTING" and "SHAMEFUL" on how he is being "MISREPRESENTED" and "MISCHARACTERIZED."
Before January 6, 2021, Jeff was labeled a "PATRIOTIC HERO" and now they are deeming him a "TERRORIST" and a "HIGH" threat to society.
All of this is "NONSENSE" because the "CURRENT" Administration is creating a "FALSE" narrative about the Jan 6th rally and those involved for political gain. Jeff has "EVERY" right to be enraged with our government and their dubious actions over the way he has been mistreated. He had the "RIGHT" to protest our government based on his "alleged" actions that day.
"Why is he in jail locked down 23 hrs a day in jail?"
"WHY did members of "ANTIFA" and "BLM" not get the same treatment when they were rioting and burning cities down across the country?"
Many of the "ANTIFA" and "BLM" protesters viciously "ASSAULTED" police officers, but they got a "FREE PASS" or "BAILED" out of jail by celebrities.
Jeff is an "EXCEPTIONAL" Friend, "FAITHFUL" Patriot, and "DEVOTED" and "LOVING" Father.
Since Jeffs incarceration, his life has been totally obliterated. He has lost his honorable and highly respected job, all his savings have been spent trying to find genuine attorneys to represent him, and his two kids are experiencing extreme hardships from the backlash of this traumatic day from their peers at school.
Jeff is having a tough time finding an attorney in the DC area that would represent him aggressively.

In defense of Jeff:
He allegedly pushed officers back as they were spraying the crowd. While wearing a gas mask, he attempted to take the spray from an officer. After it fell, he threw the bottle.
Please keep in mind that in the United States, every citizen charged with a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

* Act of Physical Violence in the Capitol Grounds or Buildings

Personal Takeaway: Jeff McKellop appears to have attempted to protect the public from Capitol Hill Police firing tear gas at them.
It's difficult to say if this action was wise but most good people have a natural instinct to protect innocent people from harm. Jeff's actions appear protective, defensive, not at all offensive and harmful.
Jeff's treatment inside the DC jails and court system appears unbelievably abusive, his rights appear to be grossly violated.

I’m disappointed that they all plead guilty of “insurrection” and are not interested in fighting the fascist system. She was found in contempt of court in Oct but I haven’t heard anything since.
Jailed Jan 6th protesters should be freed for not getting a speedy trial. Continued imprisonment is an atrocity. This issue needs to be escalated times 1000.

Establishing the ‘insurrection’ narrative this way and linking it somehow to Trump is one of the few ways the establishment can disqualify him from the ballot in ‘24.
There should be a massive lawsuit filled on behalf of these incarcerated "prisoners" who had their Constitutional rights violated by the DOJ.

None of them have been charged with Insurrection.
That is a very specific charge. Most days, these charges would not amount to much more than trespassing and civil disorder.

Things have a way of just disappearing in DC, don’t they? I don’t know why he would need an attorney from DC - why haven’t any of the conservative organizations that provide legal help stepped in? I don’t understand that. I can’t think of their names off hand but we know they’re out there.
And WHY aren’t GOP members out in front every single day demanding a resolution to all those being held without trial? This is America, isn’t it?

Trump has stated repeatedly during his rallies that these people are being abused by the law and juxtaposes their treatment with the BLM riots that killed and destroyed countless lives and businesses.
Trump has stated further that many should be fully pardoned and have the finances restored and their reputations back.
If Trump was donating millions to their defense, you would never hear about it.
