Just a reflection of NYC in general. Probably the most racist city in America, if not the world. Klansmen marching in the streets, massive Nuremberg-type rallies in Central Park two or three times a month, night riders, strange fruit, the whole nine yards. Huge book burnings in Battery Park. Been that way for years. The MSM keeps it under wraps, but everyone knows what’s going on.

In the 19th century, being high mulatto, or better yet, able to pass for White, was seen as a positive.
