I rec’d this from Ukrainian soldier. This reveals the heart of Ukraine Patriots
Народ України
🙏🇺🇦🕊💙💛
I was fed by someone’s mother today
In a village in Kyiv region, where there are no people.
There every minute the “grades” are bursting.
But for our mothers, there are no other people’s children.
I ate cold buckwheat and warm bread
And promised that I will continue to protect.
That lady is lost for words
And the eyes wash became wet.
I told her, “You, mom, don’t rush.
Your son will protect your family! “
She quietly said to me, “Pray.
For already the Lord is his soul... “
And my chest squeezed, and added regret,
I called my mom on the phone.
I called and reminded that I love her,
And promised victory, no matter what.
Even my dad shed a tear.
“You mama hug and kiss...
I was fed by someone’s mother today.
Therefore, as you see ours, feed them too.”
LOL, lemme guess. The poem was stenciled onto a metal canteen cup by a bayonet, and was found near the outstretched hand of a Uke soldier who finally breathed his last after his single handed killing of a Russian platoon?
Laying it on thick there.
That poem is the worst kind of virtue signaling propaganda.
Oh, my heart is breaking.
