Fan announces no more MLB!
I wonder if the Field of Dreams is carbon neutral?
Dear Bosoxs.
Fenway Park on Jersey and Van Ness should be considered a shrine, and not be defiled by Enviros.
Plus, most communists and environmentalists hate baseball.
Where’s the Citgo sign btw?
5.56mm
Reason, a team I fo.lowed for many years, went gay, blm, and now green. Said good riddance to them back when they decided to give money to gay organizations over homeless organizations or some worthy organization instead. The. They went all blm, and I knew I’d made the right decision to drop them from my sports viewing.
Then rip the dam thing down and play on a sand lot.
All that metal and stuff used to build it is an abomination.
Lord, how stupid can these freaks get?
A friend of mine is employed by a “wetlands credits” broker. It works like this: Let’s say you’re a landowner and five acres of your land is wetlands. You sign an agreement to never develop that land. You get five wetlands credits.
Now, some housing developer somewhere wants to converts five acres of wetlands into land for houses. Through a broker, that developer purchases the five wetland credits that the farmer has.
I’m thinking carbon credits work the same way. Somebody reduces his CO2 emission tonnage. He gets credits. Somebody else buys those credits and uses them to subtract from his own carbon emissions.
Meanwhile, China and India are laughing their butts off.
Are Gore and Kerry involved? Maybe Hunter can see that the "Big Guy" gets his 10%.
It's sort of like buying an indulgence from the Church in the Middle Ages. It doesn't get you off any criminal charges, but it'll keep you out of hell and make you feel a whole lot better about what you've done. Of course God has to honor it; He doesn't have any alternative.
$180/ticket pays for THEIR green agenda fantasy.
Perfect timing. I have a couple of million carbon credits to sell.
Whatever scheme that was cooked up had to allow rich people to use their private jets.
You can. There will be a carbon offset charge built into the bean-containing nacho and chili dog prices.
I wonder if the NFL’s theft of a billion bucks from taxpayers for the Bills’ news stadium gave MLB ideas...
Just another form of Indulgences.
Rich people trying to buy their way into heaven.

Carbon credits are literally nothing. Once a carbon credit is sold, it’s worth, substance, material is gone. In fact it doesn’t even have any value before it’s sold.
The theory is - someone else is now incentivized to grow trees, save a rainforest, or turn an old industrial site into a green area because they can sell the carbon credits. But of course rules on what counts for such schemes are highly changeable and political. I believe the EU just declared nuclear plants can now sell carbon credits because they "prevent" so much CO2 from other sources entering the air. Now the Boston Red Sox can buy them to offset their "carbon output."
its truly a Wall Street and government scam of the most filthy kind
No more flights to other cities to play ball? Going to make the team walk there?
Or are they planting a million trees in the Amazon to smugly feel good about themselves?
“No more hot dogs and nachos?”
No, you’ll just pay more because they’re just going to buy carbon credits.
What is a carbon credit? You pay money that is given to someone to help them buy, for example, solar panels.
What does the buyer of a carbon credit get? Qualitatively they get cleaner air, but quantitatively nobody gets anything.
And there’s the distinct possibility that a lot of that carbon credit money ends up buying things like yachts.
