So, why did they have a loaded firearm? Who was supervising?
And just the most basic firearm safety training, “How to clear a weapon,” would have prevented this, assuming it was an accident.
I am leaning more towards murder-suicide. If this wasn’t going to disappear, I bet we’d learn all sorts of interesting things...
Yep. Just the tip of the iceberg. Democrats and the media have turned this country into a Godless, sociological sewer.
I had a .22 single shot rifle at twelve. I was also on a town league rifle team at the time. I understood the risk and responsibility involved with gun ownership.
I don’t think these kids had the advantage of the training and, frankly, haranguing from my coach. Dangerous ignorance.
There’s no video.
Thank you; I couldn’t find it. Need some more coffee. Sad for the two kids.
“It was a freak accident. It happened.”
It definately wasn’t a freak accident. I always wondered why people buy guns and leave them lying around. Strap it on!
Is that the 14 year old?
““Everybody was getting together to celebrate, and so the younger kids, they got a bed and breakfast,” Harvey told KSDK. “They were making a video, and [Paris] was playing with the gun, but it went off and hit him.””
Criminal irresponsibility of the highest order, and really stupid, too.
Darwin Award with Oak-leaf cluster. If neither had yet procreate, of course.
Why does a 14 yr old have a loaded gun in his possession? Has he been threatened? Arming him isn’t the solution to that scenario. A 14 yr old doesn’t have the maturity to understand what a loaded gun can do. A steep price to pay for a birthday party.
democrats...
I bet there are quite a few 14 year olds in West Virginia or Montana or Alaska who have their own gun.
However, I’m gonna guess the ones who do, don’t have handguns, and they would never be playing with them, loaded.
To your point, and the one I was hinting at. I highly doubt the mother didn’t know about the gun. If she did, then it’s a tragedy for her. Although I’m still not buying the “freak accident” characterization.
Kuaron? Paris? Their lives were over when their mother gave them those ridiculous ghetto names. No mention of dad.
Those kids should not under any circumstances have been able to get their little hands on that loaded gun.
The adult that owned that gun is responsible and should be prosecuted according to applicable law.
Ain’t Hollywood and the music industries glorification of thug culture grand ?
Spit.
“Shinise” is mommy’s name.
Do you know why they slant the Gun when they point it, the answer is that’s the way they take it out of the Box.
