When asked whether someone who doesn’t know what a woman is should serve on the Supreme Court, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.), who serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said, “I think it’s pretty clear that Judge Jackson is a woman. So, I don’t think she has any doubt as to what a woman is."
At the Capitol on Thursday, March 24, CNSNews.com asked Sen. Whitehouse: “Senator Blackburn, on Tuesday during the hearing, asked Judge Jackson to define the word ‘woman’ and Judge Jackson said, ‘No. I can’t.’ Should someone who does not know what a woman is serve on the Supreme Court?”
The senator responded: “I think it’s pretty clear that Judge Jackson is a woman. So, I don’t think she has any doubt as to what a woman is. The question was asked in the context of dealing with the law about transgender individuals.”

Actually, that was not the context. It came during a discussion about Ruth Ginsburg's opinion in US vs. Virginia, which was about what we would now consider traditional male and female discrimination.
I think they oddest thing about the whole questioning at this point, was not the Jackson didn't know what a woman was, (which was pretty bizarre), but that she was completely unaware of this case, which was one of feminist icon Ginsburg's biggest cases. When Barrett was being confirmed, she knew Ginsburg's record backward and forward. Of course, she was replacing Ginsburg. Still, coming in as a heralded black woman, she should have been very familiar with Ginsburg's cases, as well as Thomas' and even Thurgood Marshall's. This tells me she did no prep to speak of, and has relied entirely on her demographics to carry he through the process.
How can we be so sure what “gender” she is?

Judge Jackson was dodging a discussion that would have gotten her in trouble with Democrat wokesters. In their ideology, defining a woman is verboten because it would eventually come down to basic 1st grade biology.
That makes her a partisan ideologue. Good trap set and sprung.
