Chris Wallace, the disgraced ex-Fox News Channel host, took a number of cheap shots at his former place of employment during an exclusive interview with The New York Times.
“I just no longer felt comfortable with the programming at Fox,” said Wallace, the notorious never-Trumper.
Mr. Wallace left Fox News after nearly two decades to take a low-level job hosting a digital program on CNN, the fledgling leftwing news channel.
He castigated both the network and Tucker Carlson, the top-rated host in all of cable television.
“I’m fine with opinion: conservative opinion, liberal opinion,” Mr. Wallace said in his first extensive interview about his decision to leave. “But when people start to question the truth — Who won the 2020 election? Was Jan. 6 an insurrection? — I found that unsustainable.”
Mr. Wallace told The Times he spent “a lot of 2021 looking to see if there was a different place for me to do my job.”
He told the newspaper that he was “so alarmed by Mr. Carlson’s documentary ‘Patriot Purge’ — which falsely suggested the Jan. 6 Capitol riot was a ‘false flag’ operation intended to demonize conservatives — that he complained directly to Fox News management.”

Wallace also demanded that Trump pledge to honor the results of the 2016 election (Wallace assuming, of course, that Trump would lose) and then never even trying to appear fair and asking Hillary to do the same. Good thing nobody ever asked her what she'd do if she lose because Hillary then spent the next four years disputing the results of the election.
Chris and Whoopie would make a nice couple.
I agree with Chris here. When people start to question the fact that the Democrats stole the 2020 election through massive, coordinated illegal ballot harvesting in all the key states, that's inexcusable. Ditto when people call the relative handful of unarmed protestors who went into the Capitol (many waved through by the police), an insurrection (when NONE of them were armed) - I agree - that's inexcusable.

Notice that conservatives rarely act like Wallace did or try to stifle them as he attempted to with Carlson.
So Wallace couldn’t feel good about working at FOX because they asked reasonable questions about election integrity and Jan 6, but he has not problem working at CNN and their constant BLATANT LIES about Russian collusion, Covid and nearly EVERYTHING ELSE. What a freaking putz.
