Why is nobody trying to negotiate an end to the war? We only hear about war tactics.

This could have, and should have, been prevented.

And now, cooler heads need to negotiate an end to it. Not escalate!

Our diplomats are absent.

Why?

First, the Demoncrats unleased Covid -19 on us so they could manipulate a win in the 2020 election.

Next, with the scam of the Chinese/Fauci flu dying down and the Demoncrats chances of staying in power along with it they are trying their desperate best to start a war with Putin so they can declare a national emergency and cancel the next election.

Hope I’m wrong but it’s just like Demoncrats to destroy everything they come in contact with. In fact, there are many in that group that believe destroying this country would be a good thing.

Well stated, but one glaring correction:

Opposition To Starting Provoking WWIII Doesn’t Make You Pro-Putin, It Just Means You’re Sane

America has done more damage in 20 years than Putin has since being president of Russia.

That was one tired, worn out Neocon argument.

It’s the very same argument they’ve been using...the infamous “domino theory”.

There is no evidence to support the assertion that Russia intends to take the world.

You’re just full of sh!t.

It would be great if Americans were as concerned about the invasion coming across our southern border as they are about the invasion of Ukraine. You would think the slaughter of innocent Americans at the hands of illegal aliens and the unprecedented influence of the Cartels would be more of a concern.

This is all gaslighting to get Ukraine to surrender to “stop WWIII.” Ironically, projecting weakness in the face of mass murdering Putinist Russia is the surest way to get WWIII.

Alaska? Putinists will be giving their kids when the CCP sinks a US carrier. I hope those Putin bare-chested on horseback pics were worth it to them. That’s where this is all heading. A US undermined on both the left and right will not stand. Guaranteed.

...they are worried about invasions in foreign countries, but neglect the one on our own border.

It's like this:

...they are worried feign outrage about invasions in foreign countries, but neglect to divert from the one on our own border.

It's working, including defection of fault for the economy.

Biden actually stated this yesterday:

“With regard to food shortage, yes, we did talk about food shortages. And -- and it's going to be real. The price of these sanctions is not just imposed upon Russia, it's imposed upon an awful lot of countries as well, including European countries and our country as well. And -- because both Russia and Ukraine have been the breadbasket of Europe in terms of wheat, for example -- just to give you one example.”

The worst part is that Republicans have hijacked this war from Biden. Are they trying to loose the midterms?

Of course. The surrender caucus will always find a reason to surrender.

This ALL to pump up Xiden’s numbers and to try and save some semblance of a Democrat majority in the House and Senate come this November. Nothing more, and they’re willing to risk a nuclear exchange with the Bear to do it. Madness - utter insanity.

California has as many people as Ukraine. I don’t ever ONCE recall the Ukraine offering to send troops, fight for, enact sanctions against the lower Americas or ANYTHING that could help stop the invasion of our southern borders.

Not one time - ever. And we’re supposed to be all in that they desperately want to pull us into a potentially escalating full-out exchange with Russia? Not hardly.

There are so many logical problems with this article....

Sane people with any knowledge of world affairs...are saying is that communist China currently presents a far greater threat to American dominance on the global scale than Russia does and that tying ourselves up in a prolonged conflict in Europe is a bad idea that gives China free reign.

What "prolonged conflict?" We've been told that Ukraine has already lost, and that all that is left is a little bit of "mopping up." And since we haven't committed any troops or military assets to that conflict, nothing is really "tied up", either.

However, I would suggest that if you are concerned with China, doing nothing while Putin tries to bully Ukraine would do nothing but encourage Chinese aggression in the Pacific. If you really want to send a warning to China, you arm the Ukrainians (Taiwanese) to the teeth, and do everything you can to cripple the Russian (Chinese) economy to discourage military adventurism moving forward.

They’re saying that negotiations are a good thing for Ukraine and that trying to drag out the war (and thus a Russian siege on Ukrainian cities) is likely to cause more devastation while making Russia stronger and Ukraine weaker.

If "dragging our the war" truly does make Russia stronger and Ukraine weaker, then there is no way in hell Russia is going to negotiate anything. Why should it, if every day of war actually makes Russia stronger? Peace, by that definition, would actually make Russia weaker than it should be.

Seems to me this author has an agenda, and is just throwing crappy arguments against the wall to see if any stick.

I guess American Putinistas are will to give Putin Alaska in return for a piece of paper guaranteeing ever lasting peace between Russia and the USA.

That's nonsense and just a canard to provide some cover for war-mongering resulting from Russia hate, IMO. Democrats (and some others, I guess) are using it more and more now. It's called "Look! Squirrel!" to divert from the real argument and not answer in TODAY's world context.
