You do realize Russia is the largest producer of wheat of which it supplies 25% of the world production? Russia is able to feed itself with plenty of cushion. They don’t have to eat their oil and gas.
Also a funny side note... They are the largest exporter of fertilizer of which we are one of their biggest importers...
If we made all that stuff here we wouldn’t have to worry about it.
Seems we had a President who said that not long ago.

Pathetic, incompetent, corrupted, drunk mongol.
And we and Japan were deadly enemies, too.
“You do realize Russia is the largest producer of wheat of which it supplies 25% of the world production? “
It’s more like 8% and that’s the only case where they are really strong. They produce less meat than Germany.
“There will come a point when the Russians will be provoked into a pre emptive strike”
Mein Gott ! Be very affraid. Looking what these imbeciles are doing in Ukraine and how their equipment is “maintained”, now imagine the monkies are trying to launch the nukes.
I’m hoping you forgot your sarcasm tag. Dismissing a nuclear exchange as some half assed joke is surely sarcasm or neocon death wish idiocy.
Well, I guess you women have a hard time staying level headed. But it’ll all be ok.
I am afraid your wrong.
“Pathetic, incompetent, corrupted, drunk mongol”
You sure got that right!
That’s our man Xiden.
Let’s go Brandon
Poland has been right for the last 30 years in re Russia.
3) Completely stop Russian propaganda in Europe. Freedom of speech does not mean the right to lie.

Yes it does. Freedom of speech does include the right to lie.
My apologies. I misread the charts. Russia produces 11% of the worlds wheat but accounts for almost 20% of exports. What I’m explaining is they won’t need to eat their oil? Make sense?
Everything I can see is that they produce more meat than Germany. At least with beef, chicken, fish... I can’t find some stats as Germany is combined with the EU often.

If most people in the eastern half of Ukraine would be happy under Russian control, the Russians would have made much better success in those areas already. From reports I saw in the year before this war started, it seemed that Ukrainian public opinion in those areas was becoming much less accepting of Putin’s Russia. The map at comment #9 makes exactly that point and that was in 2001. Wonder what that map looked like in 2011?
Poland has had a uniquely troubling history. At times it has completely disappeared as a country. My maternal grandfather was born in Posen (Poznan) Poland, although it was the late 1860s or 1870s when he was probably born, so it may have been Prussia (Germany) at that time. He and my maternal grandmother who was born near Koernigsberg which is now Lithuania, and then East Prussia came to the US in the early 1890s. I don’t see too much border shifting going on since the European Union idea seems to be getting stronger with the help of Putin’s aggression.
I have often thought that a lot of trouble in the Middle East and Africa could be avoided if plebacites were taken and borders reconstituted to more normal ethnic patterns. The colonialist countries carved up the territories and ensured control by lumping opposing tribes and religions together using the divide and rule principle. To solve problems of economic resources, the mining and oil rights for a larger territory could be held in common and income distributed annually to each specific country according to population and agreement amoung members of an economic council of the member countries, with an appropriate internation body—something in the UN or an international court of appeals for final arbitration. Could this reduce warfare among the smaller countries?

***Nope. Israel is a perfect example of the inability of the UN to get anything right. We’re stuck with the hopelessness of human nature until Christ returns for His Millenial Kingdom.
