My youngest daughter is single, although she now has a nice boyfriend. But, from the stories she tells it's hard for women to find nice guys to date. Most of the normal ones are taken.

She has a strong personality and too much respect for herself to fall into the hookup culture trap.

I was always thinking, not thinking much of myself, that married women were kinder to me either because they knew I couldn’t ask them out in good conscience, or because they wished they were single.
