He will live in freedom there, compared to here, where he would be political prisoner.
“Insurrectionist”
What a load of crpp. These pukes are lucky there hasn’t been an insurrection, yet.
That is what happens when our government starts political prosecutions.
Good for Belarus. Hope Trump pardons all these people when he is re-elected.
The treatment of these people will forever be a stain on our nation. Outside of a small number of idiots, we were never insurrectionists, but we are now dissidents. Remember when dissidents were from Tibet, Nicaragua, China, USSR and Cuba?
Whoever dreamed American Patriots would have to escape to Ex-Soviet Republics for freedom?
Who can blame him.
I wish he would have taken Matthew Perna with him.
Irony that Americans now seek asylum in parts of the former Soviet Union.
He was one of the instigators that used violence, not one of the innocents who strolled in like tourists. He fled to Belarus because he is an instigator, trying to give the deep state an excuse to go after Trump, not because he is a patriot. If he is a “patriot” he isn’t one of ours- his loyalty was and is to some other country, one which would benefit from keeping Trump out of office, and the tell is in his rather obvious selection.
Lukashenko is a true dictator, but Evan will still be better off there for the time being, IMO.
there was a continuing “insurrection” on jan sixth, but it wasn’t the peaceful, unarmed Trump supporters perpetrating it.
He would deserve it. He wasn’t in Washington DC that day to listen to a Trump speech like the unlucky people who weren’t allowed to skip the country and aren’t the type. How do we know he wasn’t among those patriots who were there to attend Trump’s speech? Simple. He went to DC with a gas mask. He wore the gas mask while he vandalized the building using a barricade, and most likely he did that before the Trump crowd (who were there for a speech not for a break-in) had time to get there.
I don’t blame him for escaping either.
I used to live in the DC metro area. My commute from MD to VA took me down Constitution Ave in DC every single day. On Jan 6, I took the Beltway, adding 10 miles to my commute each way. Did not want my cell phone to ping off of any DC cell towers or Stingrays that day. I knew this was a setup from the start, but couldn’t believe that this Star Chamber would get as bad as it has gotten.
Left for Thailand on Jan 17th. Other than FR, I haven’t looked back. I don’t blame anybody for getting the hell out of Dodge.
