Putin is nuts. There’s no endgame here. The Ukrainians will never allow themselves to be indefinitely subjugated after this. How does a 15 year partisan war help Russia?

I specifically was told on FR that Russia has all failing equipment, poorly trained troops, no good strategy, and that Ukraine was kicking butt.

From everything I’ve seen the city is basically destroyed already. Rubble makes pretty good fighting positions for infantry. Ukrainians probably gave Putin the bird finger.
