Taxpayers pay for bureaucratic incompetence. Nothing new.

One more brilliant effort on the FBI’s Hall of Shame bulletin board.

How many years now. It’s almost forgotten. The way it works.
How about the Las Vegas shooting and the mass murder by squishing and burning to death kids at Waco....

It sounds like @ssho Cruz decided to have his own little Feb 14 “insurrection” and the Feds missed it. In all fairness, the Feddies were busy trying to bring down President Trump at that time.

None of the boobs at the FBI get fired over this gross incompetence and the taxpayers are on the hook for the penalty. There is zero incentive to cleanup the FBI as a result.

I thought the police didn’t have any liability for failing to prevent crimes. Do the Feds?

Charging the taxpayers for government stooges' incompetence or criminality has to stop. These costs need to be borne by the individuals as well as their peers and superiors.
Yes, include their peers, just like a company. Because until all of them start feeling it in their wallet and depleted pensions, they'll never behave with the best interest of others in mind.

Start with anyone that has or had anything to do with “restorative justice.”
