The war itself will end in a month or two, but the insurgency we will be financing will continue on for as long as we (the US) can keep it going. Or at least that’s the plan... should these idiots in the Biden WH make a miscalculation, well don’t be surprised if we get WW3 in the process.

Nothing Putin ever does ends in a few weeks. He drags things out forever and hopes his opponents will lose interest. Ukraine will be a major issue in both the midterms and 2024. Fake News won’t let it be anything else.

I’d really like to see Putin make a public request to speak with President Trump about his ceasefire options in Ukraine….even assuming such a meeting would never happen.

Some clarity is needed here, between “militarists” and “militants”.

The former love uniforms, parades, and beating the drum for war, emotionally craving “the thrill” as seen back home, far from the actual fight. They also lust for the riches of war, most of which come from creating the goods of war. The smallest subset see war as a political opportunity for their side, and will opportunistically turn against it when the opposition is elected.

The latter, “militants” are the ones who will have to fight the war. They realize that war is foul smelling, expensive, should be done as briefly as possible, filled with boring work, hurts innocents far more than the guilty, and most of all, comes about because of failure of diplomacy. Yet they also realize that some or bound and determined to cause it, and they must be stopped.

So-called ‘Neo-Cons’ are armchair strategists, who only deserve a minute or two in any discussion of war, then should be asked to leave the room. Leftists should never be allowed to enter the building, much less the room.

The is the whole point of the propaganda about the war in Ukraine.

The establishment class knows Democrats are going to get wiped out in November but want the neocons back in charge of the GOP.

On the other hand, the war is going to drag out for months

I don't believe its going to drag out of months.

It's only dragging out now because the Russians want to force a negotiated settlement.

You're the one being bombarded by propaganda and believing it.

President Trump is perfectly capable of making correct decisions on such matters without “hawks” trying to convince him to start new wars ...

Is the war going to be over in a few days, as McGregor claims

He never said. You're making things up.

Zelensky and his handlers in the Biden regime, are trying desperate to find a way to get our military and NATO involved. If that doesn't happen, he'll likely flee the country and those that remain will cut a deal with the Russians.

George Soros is already in charge. You don’t think that feeble fool in the WH is pulling the strings do you?

I have heard by many here that Russia is done, Ukraine is winning so, we need not worry about sending more weaponry and foreign help. I hope that is true and we can end these threats ASAP.

This should all be wrapped up quickly and Russia will go home. But you can’t have it both ways, you cannot say Ukraine is winning and be asking for no fly zones and wanting other people’s family members in other countries to die for Ukraine. This may be a war our politicians want for obvious reasons, but the people want no part of it. Those politicians will sacrifice our men and women because it ain’t their ox getting gored.

Zelensky could end this now and save a lot of lives.

as McGregor claims

If it wasn't obvious before, MacGregor has been outed as a Putin Puppet. Of course, shutting down RT took away his primary propaganda outlet. If we want Russian propaganda, we might as get it undiluted from the Kremlin.

Me: Is the war going to be over in a few days, as McGregor claims

You: He never said. You're making things up.

You sure about that? Because on Friday March 4, MacGregor appeared on Varney's show on FBN to discuss the war. Here's an exact quote:

"The first five days, Russian forces I think, frankly, were too gentle. They’ve now corrected that. So I would say another 10 days, this should be completely over."

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/russian-forces-were-too-gentle-on-ukraine-says-former-trump-official-who-calls-zelensky-a-puppet/

10 days from March 4 is March 14, so I suppose you're right. MacGregor actually said this would be over two days ago.

You’re being very generous with the minute or two for the Neo-Cons. Take attendance and ask them to leave without saying a word.

Actually, I think the comedian in Kyiv is in charge. Events can have a way of raising a man up. But consider this -- the terms Russia allegedly have offered permit Zelensky to stay in power, and - at least on their face -- permit Ukraine to retain complete freedom to run their own affairs outside alliances. So if this is truly is about nothing other than Soros wanting to stay in charge, then he could just command his puppet Zelensky to accept the Russian terms so they can get back to doing whatever it is Soros does.

Of course you can -- if you understand the military realities on the ground.

Ukraine may be close to stopping the Russian advance, so in that sense, they may be winning. But stopping the Russian offensive is not the same thing as being able to push Russian troops all the way back into Russia. Even though Russian troops may (and people disagree on that) have lost their offensive punch, they still may be able to hold ground. And as long as they can hold ground, they can just blast away with artillery and murder civilians. Not to mention airstrikes. So, given that the Ukrainian leadership would prefer not to see its people murdered, they will need to be supplied with weapons and ammo necessary to push Russians back, and no-fly (which I don't think they will get) to stop the airstrikes.

Zelensky could end this now and save a lot of lives.

So could Putin. Including the lives of his own conscripts.

Not a contradiction. Organized resistance by conventional forces may be disorganized and incompetent. This doesn’t mean an insurgency cannot be generated. The Ukraine would be a perfect place for this. The CIA helped sustain anti Soviet guerrillas who were also anti Russian for over a decade. Some were pro German, judeophobes the US inherited from the Gehlen Organization. Now with a common frontier between the Ukraine and NATO Poland it would be comparatively simple to provide resupply and logistics support for a transborder operation, as well as having a made to order guerilla safe haven in Poland. If there is any country in Europe that is congenitally anti Russian it is Poland. If enough refugees can be settled there the CIA and it’s numerous epigones can recreate on a smaller scale the kind of unofficial state within a state the Afghan diaspora provided the US in Pakistan to sustain the Pathan insurgency in Afghanistan. As seen by the Azov Brigade there are plenty of would be warlords to be hired to create private armies to rent. After Afghanistan there are plenty of experienced US operatives to organize and train the fighters that can be recruited. One major benefit of such an operation against the Russian residual force and the coopted Ukraineian regime, in the view of Langley and K Street is it can be used to stoke Cold War 2. This has been the earnest desire of much of the permanent government for about the last twenty years.

I would give them their say for two reasons. First being they develop some interesting models of world affairs, accurate or not, and second, globalists tend to make assumptions based on those models.

It’s like listening to crackpot theories. Even crackpots sometimes notice things that might otherwise be missed.
